REO VALUATIONS

Real estate owned (REO) is property owned by a lender, such as a bank, that has not been successfully sold at a foreclosure auction. A lender—often a bank or quasi-governmental entity such as Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac—takes ownership of a foreclosed property when it fails to sell at the amount sought to cover the loan.

 

TAX ASSESSMENT VALUATION

The Property Tax Appeal is possible to trim your property tax bill by appealing the value the county assigned to your home. That “assessed value” is what's used to calculate how much tax you owe. One way to lower your property tax is to show that your home is worth less than its assessed value.
